Les Blankenship, a native of Meridian, Mississippi, settled in Charleston in 1989. He brings extensive expertise and experience as an entrepreneur and business executive to his law practice, co-founding two successful network and database engineering companies. His information technology experience spans nineteen years, and was supplemented by six years as a nuclear engineering supervisor in the U.S. Navy submarine force.

While a full time law student, Les acted as the Charleston School of Law's first IT Manager, designing and building a state-of-the-art data and communications infrastructure. At the same time, he served on the Moot Court Board and Charleston Law Review. He was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2008.
