Ms. Borsanyi was born in Arlington, Virginia on January 13, 1956. She was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2001, and the United States District Court, District of South Carolina in 2002.

Ms. Borsanyi graduated summa cum laude from Florida Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1990. She received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Carolina in 2001, where she served as a member of the ABA Property, Probate and Trust Journal. While in law school, Ms. Borsanyi was named to the President's List, and received a CALI (American Jurisprudence) Award in Domestic Law.

Ms. Borsanyi clerked for the Honorable Joseph F. Anderson, Jr., Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court, District of South Carolina, from 2001 to 2002.

Ms. Borsanyi is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association, the Richland County Bar Association, the American Bar Association the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. She serves on the South Carolina Bar's Ethics Advisory Committee and the Practice and Procedure Committee. Ms. Borsanyi is a member of the S.C. Women Lawyer's Association.

Ms. Borsanyi practices in the litigation division, with an emphasis on personal injury, business disputes and domestic and family law.
