Ralph C. McCullough, II graduated from Tulane University Law School in 1965. He is a member of the Louisiana and South Carolina Bars. Mr. McCullough is presently the Managing Director and a Professor of Law at the Charleston School of Law. He is also a Distinguished Professor of Emeritus at the University of South Carolina School of Law where he served as a faculty member from 1968 to 2002. He acted as Assistant Dean from 1970 to 1975 and held the American College of Trial Lawyers Chair for Advocacy. He also served as an Adjunct Professor of Law and Medicine for the University of South Carolina Medical School and as Adjunct Professor of Pathology for the Medical University of South Carolina. He has served as a member of the United States Panel Trustees since 1975. He has served as a Chapter 11 Trustee in numerous complex cases. He is currently serving as Plan Trustee in HomeGold, Inc./HomeGold Financial/Carolina Investors, Inc. His practice other than in the bankruptcy area has focused in tort areas, particularly in the areas of professional negligence, construction law and product liability.
