Ms. Crombie was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1982 and the South Carolina Bar in 2005. She is also a member of the bar for the United States District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio.

Ms. Crombie graduated from the University Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1977. She received her Juris Doctor from Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 1982.

Ms. Crombie began her legal career as an associate with Hyatt Legal Services where she engaged in the general practice of law concentrating in the areas of consumer bankruptcy, probate, domestic relations and estate planning. She later served as a regional partner for the firm managing nine offices located in In October, 1995 she and her husband founded The Crombie Law Firm, a seven attorney general practice firm located in Cleveland. In 2000, Ms. Crombie and her family relocated to South Carolina.

Ms. Crombie practices in the real estate department, with emphasis on residential, commercial and REO closings.
