Aliecia M. Bores was raised in Monroeville, Ohio. She attended Ohio University in Athens, Ohio where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree and graduated magna cum laude in 2009. Ms. Bores is a 2014 graduate of the Charleston School of Law.

During law school she served as one of the three articles editors on the Federal Court Law Review and was a member of the Moot Court Board. She also volunteered with the Charleston County Probate Court’s Adult Guardianship Assistance and Monitoring Program, served as a peer mentor to first-year law students, was a participant in the (JOE) program, was a research assistant to Professor Gerald M. Finkel and served as vice-president of the Business Law Society.

Ms. Bores served as a law clerk at the United States Attorney’s Office. She then went on as an intern with the Honorable C. Weston Houck. Most recently, Aliecia served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Doyet A. Early, III in Bamberg, South Carolina.

Outside of the office Aliecia enjoys spending time with her chihuahua, Reese, as well as crafting, decorating, baking, collecting antiques and many fitness activities.
